Our Wave, Inc. ("Our Wave", "we", "us") prohibits the use of unsolicited email, messages, or communications of any kind to advertise or promote ourwave.org, community.ourwave.org, or any Our Wave service. This prohibition applies to Our Wave staff, volunteers, contractors, partners, and any third party.
When We Send Email
We send email only to: (1) individuals who have explicitly opted in to receive our newsletters or updates; (2) users of our platform who receive transactional notifications related to their own activity; (3) donors receiving receipts and acknowledgments; and (4) individuals with whom we are in direct correspondence.
Our Email Practices
Every marketing or newsletter email we send includes a working one-click unsubscribe mechanism, and unsubscribe requests are honored immediately. We never purchase, rent, or trade email lists. We do not operate affiliate or referral marketing programs.
Reporting Violations
Anyone who receives an unsolicited message promoting Our Wave, or who believes this policy has been violated, should report it to [email protected]. We investigate all reports and will terminate any relationship with a party found to be promoting Our Wave through unsolicited messages.
