Our Wave Volunteer

Illeana is a current junior undergraduate student at North Carolina State University studying Psychology and pursuing a minor in Sociology. Her current work in an Adult Cognition and Emotion research lab is allowing her to develop important skills and complete a research project on the relationship between a person’s Critical Thinking Disposition and their Emotional Intelligence. Such work is important as she plans to attend graduate school in order to work towards a career in Clinical Mental Health Counseling! A career that will allow her to have a positive impact on individuals and thus the community around her. She is passionate about creating change and getting involved with the community, and reaching others in need of support. In her free time, she loves art, reading, and exploring the outdoors!

Help change the conversation.
