‘It Ends With Us’: Justin Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios Partners With Nonprofit No More to Provide Resources for Survivors of Abuse (EXCLUSIVE)

In August 2024, Variety's Katcy Stephan reported that Justin Baldoni's production company, Wayfarer Studios, was partnering with the nonprofit No More around the release of It Ends With Us. The exclusive explained how the film would point viewers who see their own experiences on screen toward help for domestic and sexual violence.

Resources Built Into the Film's Release

According to Variety, No More planned an end card in the film's credits and a dedicated web page so survivors and their loved ones could find support quickly. The centerpiece is the No More Global Directory, which connects people to support services in the United States and around the world. The article also describes "The Lighthouse," a guide to recognizing the signs of abuse and finding resources. Survivors were also invited to share their stories safely and find support on the No More Silence: Speak Your Truth platform.

Tools for Viewers and Communities

No More also created a viewers' guide to spark conversation about healthy relationships, along with a community toolkit for local organizations. The article notes that Wayfarer's Man Enough and No More were launching a social media campaign around key themes in the film. Wayfarer Studios also committed a share of its net proceeds to No More's prevention and survivor-support work.

A Partnership That Began in Production

Variety reports that No More served as a content advisor on the film, from the script through post-production, so that abuse would be portrayed accurately and with care. Baldoni described his goal as making projects with purpose that educate and support viewers. No More's Global CEO, Pamela Zaballa, called the release an important cultural moment for dialogue and action. Baldoni also spoke about approaching survivors' choices without judgment and with compassion.

I’m a nurse who helps sexual assault survivors. Jane Doe’s texts from Cornell sound like what I hear in Philadelphia

I am a sexual assault nurse examiner in Philadelphia. For the past 10 years, I have also studied how people heal after sexual harm, and I answer anonymous questions from survivors on Our Wave, a free online healing platform for people who have experienced violence. In both places, the question I hear most often is “Does this count?” Cornell’s Jane Doe spent three weeks asking herself that question.
